Paluten is a true adventurer and has long since lost count of how many times he has saved Freedom. Professor Ente's cloning machine has proven particularly helpful in the past. But now, of all things, it breaks down. For the repairs, he needs a particularly rare metal that can only be found on the summit of the highest and most dangerous mountain in Freedom: Mount Schmeverest.
Naturally, Paluten and Edgar set off immediately to obtain the rare metal, but they encounter unexpected dangers and unforeseen obstacles along the way. Will they manage to defy these adversities and get the metal?
