The Elder Scrolls merchandise
When you think of freely explorable open worlds with hundreds of interesting side quests, mysterious characters and sandbox gameplay, your thoughts are probably circling around the most important role-playing series of all time: The Elder Scrolls . Alongside Fallout and the Wolfenstein remake, Skyrim & Co. are among the best things Bethesda has ever conjured up on your screen.
The Elder Scrolls Arena was the first game to be released in 1994. Developed for MS-DOS at the time and only 25 MB in size, it set standards that other games in the same genre still have to measure up to today. Never before had you been able to explore a 3-dimensional role-playing world so freely. Never before had your own decisions had such a big influence on the gameplay and never before was the lore behind it so complex (apart from the Ultima series perhaps).
Buoyed by success, megalomania took hold with Daggerfall in 1996. The game world was the most extensive that had ever existed and would last until No Man's Sky. In the second part of The Elder Scrolls series, you could travel through an area as big as the whole of Great Britain. The procedurally generated world offered so many quests and activities that you could have played the game from release to today without running out of content.
In 2002, the series' peak came for many fans: Morrowind. Graphically, The Elder Scrolls took a giant step forward and the character system was extremely complex and multi-layered. The game world was fascinatingly surreal and the quality of the side quests was so good that many players completely lost sight of the main story. For the first time, Tamriel could also be played on consoles and impressed with water and physics effects that players of the time will never forget. Even today, Morrowind looks good with high-texture mods and new shaders and offers almost endless content thanks to numerous total conversions created by fans.
With Oblivion, Bethesda consistently continued the style they created with Morrowind. The role-playing game, released in 2006, had a larger game world than its predecessor, significantly higher resolution textures and even more fascinating and captivating side quests. Keyword: Painted World. The quest in which you immerse yourself in an expressionist painting is considered one of the most creative and interesting quests in gaming ever. Graphically, the role-playing highlight demonstrated what the Xbox 360 or PlayStation 3 were capable of, and acoustically it impressed with excellent sound for the gigantic amounts of text and a legendary, epic soundtrack.
Oblivion's successor in 2011 led to many young parents giving their offspring the name Dovah-Kiin. Admittedly, the advertising campaign seemed a bit bizarre: name your child after the protagonist of the game and get all Bethesda games for free for the rest of your life. But despite this, Skyrim quickly became a modern classic and an absolute cult game for every gamer. No one who has ever played it will probably forget their first encounter with a dragon and the first shout they learned. Even after more than 10 years, new extensive mods are still being released, secrets are still being discovered and the fifth part of The Elder Scrolls series is still one of the most played games on Steam, GoG and other platforms.

However, they don't show how good you are at stealth or archery, but instead give you 10 extra points in coolness or give your boobs legendary status, for example. In addition to literally cool clothing, you will also find accessories such as a Daggerfall keychain, Skyrim bags, gaming caps, posters and lamps. Bring more TES into your life and express your fandom in your home or on the go with clothing and accessories and show everyone what a dragon slayer you are.
Bridge the wait until the sixth part of the Elder Scrolls series with our merch for geeks. The Skyrim successor has been announced since E3 2018, but a playable version is not expected before 2024/2025. Bethesda role-playing fans will have to make do with the sci-fi adventure Starfield for now, which, according to head of design Todd Howard, is supposed to play like a Skyrim in space. That should make the wait a little more pleasant for you, along with our fan articles.
Take a look around our shop and prepare yourself for the release of Bethesda's magnum opus, which is still a long way off but will come at some point, while you play through the beloved classics from Arena to Skyrim again or try out the latest mods and ports. At this point, we highly recommend Skyrim VR. The incredible immersion of virtual reality will make you feel as if you are really marching through a real Tamriel, killing dragons. Or take a look at Cyrodiil, a mod that will consist of seven individual mods and recreates all the regions and locations of TES with new content using graphic bombast.
As a real The Elder Scrolls fan, you should also take a look at our Skyrim Monopoly board game, in which the street names are based on well-known places in Skyrim and which adds a healthy dose of fantasy to the popular board game. You can drink a cold beer from a glass of The Frozen Hearth or Dead Mans Drink and store your coins in your Skyrim wallet. In the morning, you can sip your coffee from a Winterhold or Dark Brotherhood mug and, above all, you can show your neighbors and guests that they are dealing with a real fan by putting our Skyrim doormat in front of the door.
Whether for yourself or because you want to give a loved one a fantastic treat in the truest sense of the word, you will find what you are looking for with us. The Elder Scrolls is not a series that you just play for a short time and then forget about as soon as the computer or console is turned off. The Elder Scrolls is an attitude to life that accompanies you from the first intro sequence. With our cool merch you can express this attitude to life away from the screen too.
